It's My Birthday + eBook But I Said Forever Giveaway!!!

Today is my birthday. My 26th birthday.

Yay.

I'm not going to dwell on the fact that my life is NOTHING like I had planned it to be by the time I was 26. Instead, I'm going to enjoy my day and I want you guys to celebrate with me! The wonderful Jennifer Gilby Roberts has agreed to do a giveaway with me and two lucky winners will be receiving her book But I Said Forever!

Happy, happy birthday! I hope you had a blast! :) Nothing really particular when it comes to the best birthday gift. But I'm most happy and thankful when the gift speaks of familiarity and affection, like they know I would truly enjoy the gift even if it's not expensive, like when they give me my favorite chocolates (because I'm very particular with the flavors) :)

Thank you! It was a pretty good day. I got to spend it with my husband and my Tiny Tyrant :) And I agree, I would much rather receive a gift that I know someone put thought into than something that was just expensive. The first year my husband and I were together we were so broke (and our birthdays are 5 days apart) that we couldn't get each other anything so he made my favorite dessert and I wrote him a little note and colored him this little picture of a boy and a girl blowing out birthday candles. Those little things have meant more to us than real presents.
