IF YOU WERE TO GET A TATTOO, WHAT WOULD IT
SAY OR WHAT WOULD THE GRAPHIC BE? OR IF YOU
HAVE A TATTOO, SHARE A PICTURE AND ITS
MEANING. – SUGGESTED BY SECOND RUN REVIEWS.

The rose and hearts on my neck matches a tattoo my mom has on her shoulder. There are four hearts. One for me, my mom, my dad, and my daughter.

The sparrows have double meaning. Sailors used to get a sparrow tattooed on their chest for crossing the equator and coming back home. Sparrows also mate for life and are used to represent true love. While I've never crossed the equator, at the time that I got the first sparrow I was a recovering drug addict. My sparrows represent my addiction and the recovery from it. They also sort of represent my belief in true love.

(Please excuse the sunburn. USE SUNSCREEN!)

I'd like to say there's really deep meaning behind this one but there's not. I just thought it was badass. But since there's a girl skull and boy skull you could say they represent me and my husband. Sounds good, right? ;)

My daughters initials and birthday. I don't regret this tattoo but I do regret who I let do it and the way it turned out. It's definitely a reminded that you get what you pay for!

I plan on getting more but tattoos are expensive and...priorities.

Oh I love your tattoos! My mom sisters and I are planning matching tattoos but we're not sure what. I totally understand the whole you get what you paid for, I have a tattoo on my finger and it's basically completely gone and it doesn't even look like a heart anymore. But I'll definitely look into better tattoo artists when I have the money for them.

Ella I'm a new follower as I'm really touched by your honesty and I love the meaning behind your tattoos. I love your Sugar skull tattoo, it looks fantastic. The only tats I'm getting from here on end are to represent my son, or any future kids I may have. I'm trying to decide what design to get, I'm thinking his foot/hand print but I want his actual not just a foot/hand print if you get what I mean. Or I might just get his name and DOB. Not sure yet.

My Hubby is a tattooist but funnily enough I don't really want many tattoos I do have a massive back job which is still a work in progress.

Have a great weekend!

Following you now on Bloglovin!

I have a similar-ish symbol to the sparrow that I'd want to get. I talk about it in my blog post. I think we're both survivors. :)

Your tattoos are all so pretty, and I love the meanings behind them. The colours are super gorgeous too, especially on the skull one.

Matching tattoos sounds awesome! I would do it with my husband, but it would be my first tattoo and I'm afraid of the commitment (wow, that sounds terrible, doesn't it?)
Anyway, old follower :)
